JORDAN MURAL – Volunteer Project at Inglewood High School

The new program “Wings for the Future” through the Jordan Brand is part of Nike’s corporate responsibility effort to give back to communities through Sports, Education, and Creativity. We (Leo Ochoa and students from Art Center) volunteered our weekend to paint this mural at Inglewood High School. The mural was designed by one of the High School students and we painted it the weekend before the tournament they were hosting for the 2011 Allstar weekend. Monday morning when they arrived to school, the mural was waiting to surprise them.

  1. Inspiring work Leo! When I think of wings, I think of bringing people under our wings to help them see their wings and in the hopes that they too will fly. Clearly, you were a role model here and set the tone for others to emulate. Keep up the awesome work!
